Not entirely sure... what does your /etc/pfs_fstab look like? Here's what
I do:
1) Edit /etc/pfs_fstab:
device_file mount_point fstype translation_method
example: /dev/dsk/c5t2d0 /SD_CDROM pfs-rrip xlat=unix 0
2) nohup /usr/sbin/pfs_mountd &
3) nohup /usr/sbin/pfsd &
4) /usr/sbin/pfs_mount /SD_CDROM
I think the order you run the pfs_mountd and pfsd is important.
