I have 4 9000's at home na dhave fixed this issue.
you must run pfsd nad pfs_mountd
when you execute pfsd you need to specify the number of servers to run like:
pfsd 4

Subject: [ale] OFF TOPIC:HP-UX pfs_mount
Howdy,
I know this is off topic, but hopefully someone out there has to suffer
through HP-UX as I do. I would hate to be the only one.....
Trying to mount a cdrom using psf_mount
I get the following error:
pfs_mount: pfs_mountd at sic8000:/dev/dsk/c5t2d0 not responding: :
RPC_PMAP_FAILURE - RPC_TIMED_OUT
I have pfs_mountd running. I have pfsd running. I am using HP-UX 10.20.
Thanks for any help.
Jon
