I don't think there is enough information yet to adequately address your
problem. Perhaps you could describe your present arrangement with respect
to machines, networking, software, and data, and then describe your problems
and issues with that arrangement.
Are you saying that you want to migrate completely from MS Windows and
Windows software to Linux and some combination of closed-source and
open-source software?
For what it's worth, I "upgraded" my Win95 machine at home to Win98 about a
year ago - it was slower and crashed more often, so back to Win95 it went!

As far as the database is concerned, I am looking for a migration path of

In reference to the computer, I am having systems files being corrupted.
Afriend of mine says he has had constant problem with 98 on a cyrix. I think
it is because can't format the 13 gig hd to full capacity. It's formatted at
8gigs now. But the system was glitzzy b4. though. We have P2 availible in
another office. I might move the DB the P2 but I would like to use the cyrix
with linux to word process. I would like tie into our peer to peer network.

What can in linux read a Microsoft Database?
If I want convert a Cyrix P150 that that is part a peer to peer network, how
can we set up?
