I have never installed Windows that sharing enabled was the default
setting - it has always been something that you have to do on your own.
In addition, I seriously doubt the guy got his OS install from Microsoft.
Perhaps some brain dead techie for his office did it, however full sharing
is not the default on a Windows install.
On the other hand, they do make it VERY easy to share out everything
especially if you don't know what your doing.
