I'm sure we discussed this before, but I have a serial console on a RedHat

6.1 machine.  The port is running at 9600 with xon/xoff.  It seems that it

is very very very slow.  It almosts takes 5 minutes for the machine itself

to boot up.  Do I need to use hardware flow control?
