Yes, my employer, Spellcaster Telecommunications has done some preliminary work
in getting a Linux/Postgress out-of-box solution stable for release in our
soon to be released product,, Telescope. Telescope basicaly is an all software
version of the Cobat Qube that can run on any x86 base hardware. Postgress has
some problems but seems to be reasonable for small to medium sized web sites.
