I too had Sprint cell phone service and I quickly came to the

conclusion that PCS stood for Personal Communication Sucks

(or something to that effect). The phone was totally useless

at my house and I regularly experienced the same problems you

have seen. I switched to AT&T at my companies suggestion but

the connection situation at my house did not change that much.

Still sucks.
