I've had one since last summer, and I don't have many complaints. I tell
you what, though - it can take you several tries to get a call out near GA
400 at 285 at 5:30PM! Every stressed-out soccer mom, every SUV-wielding
teenager, and every pre-IPO dot-com weenie in Boxsters they'll no longer own
six months from now are on their PCS phones!
It's better than analog cellular phones, but you're still dealing with
low-power not-quite-microwave radio transceivers, so marketing hype aside,
there are still penetration and multipath issues that no one has repealed
just because it's the year 2000, even though the design of the system tries
to minimize the impact.
