Hello,
I have a quick question for everyone, and I felt that there were enough people
on this list to get some good feedback regardless of the fact that this posting
is blatantly offtopic and has absolutely nothing to do with the official topic
of the list. The mere fact that there are a lot of people subscribed justifies
this posting.
I have a Hoover Whirlwind vacuum cleaner. It works fine but the bag fills up
quickly. From what I can tell, the bag type they specify for the cleaner
appears to be too small for the actual cleaner. Also the HEPA filter is
getting dirty and I don't know where I can get a replacement at.
It seems wrong that the bag they specify is bigger than the actual cleaner.
I'm sure I'm paying an extra $.50 or so for extra bag space that I'm not
using. Does anyone else have this problem? I'm thinking of dropping Hoover
and getting a Dirt Devil or something like that instead. I think those
have those little cups on the bottom that collect the dirt, and since the
cup is a part of the vacuum cleaner I know it will be the right size.
One of the annoying things about the cleaner is that I can't get the right
size bags ('K' I believe) anywhere near here and I have to go to the
24-hour Wal Mart on Cobb Parkway, which sucks since the store is so far
away and shopping there is such a hassle.
Also, sometimes the vacuum cleaner has a hard time picking up small pieces
of dirt and I have to go over them many times to get them up.
I would like to take a survey of other Hoover Whirlwind vacuum cleaner users.
Tell me what you don't like about it and where you've been able to find bags
at. Also, if anyone has any recommendations for new cleaners please let
me know as well.
