We've had discussions over Broadband and DSL on this list before.
This little gem should be interesting to anyone with DSL or thinking about
DSL or running DSL. This should be of particular interest to that group
here in Atlanta who claimed the DSL connections to their customers were
secure because they were "dedicated". Note that this is not just DSL
but also carries the same issues and implications for Broadband, dedicated
ISDN, or even dedicated analog. The issues are with the "dedicated"
and the "lack of security".
PacBell is now subject to a class action lawsuit for not warning
their customers about the security issues with their DSL connections.
