If I'm not mistaken, RPM's wont install unless dependencies are met, but
then again I've never used an RPM to update my kernel. If 6.1.1 needs 6.0.1
it should tell you...

While procrastinating on my taxes, I was seeing what Linux stuff needed
updating. And I noticed that the RH 6.2 updates directory had new kernel
packages. But not just one version! Now I get to choose between 2.2.14-6.0.1
and 2.2.14-6.1.1! Yeah, common sense would say to grab the 6.1.1 version,
but
it looks as if the two versions were put online at the same time. Perhaps I
need to install the 6.0.1 before the 6.1.1? Anyone?
