Trying to compile ssh on a Mandrake 6.0 system. Ssh version is 2.0.13.
At first I was getting a sig 11, which I tracked down to some bad RAM
(I've dealt with 11's before), but now I am getting a signal 4 on:
gcc -I. -I. -I../.. -I. -I../.. -I../.. -I../../include -I./../../include
-DETCDIR=\"/etc\" -DSSH_BINDIR=\"/usr/local/bin\" -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I.
-I../.. -g -Wall -I/usr/X11R6/include -c sshuserfiles.c
gcc: Internal compiler error: program cpp got fatal signal 4
Of course, the whole compilation falls apart from there.
Any ideas?
System configuration is:
Mandrake 6.0
AMD-K5Pr166 underclocked to 120 (no manual for MB, got it to work, stopped
messing with it :D )
80MB RAM - reduced to 64 to solve Sig11
SymBIOS PCI SCSI adapter
Seagate HDD (SCSI)
Quantum HDD (SCSI)
Tandberg Tape drive (SCSI)
WD IDE HDD
32X CDROM (IDE)
Opti sound card (ISA)
ATI Video card (PCI)
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
