I found the filters; a closer look at the build log would probably have

shown me those *.pod files had been used to build my man pages. Similarly,

I saw that c_rehash is a shell script concerned with certificate

management, so I expect what actually solved my problem was making the

various apps available through the lowest-common-denominator PATH.
