Hello - Thanks to Chris Ricker and others, I installed several pieces of
openssh*-1.2.3-i386.rpm (base, askpass, askpass-gnome, clients and
server), and tried both the openssl-0.9.4-i386.rpm and a home-built
0.9.5a, and now I may have a library version problem.
When I installed the server, it finished up with a lively looking summary,
a fresh new key was generated, and no errors were reported.
But, when I try [for example]:
$ openssl s_client
I get:
"openssl: error in loading shared libraries: openssl: undefined symbol:
SSLeay_add_all_algorithms"
I get the same error with either of the openSSL libraries, and the library
versions do match what openssh-1.2.3 claimed to need.
I suppose the next step is to pull the
'rpm's and build all, but it seems reasonable that the 'rpm's would work
together. Has anyone been through this? Successfully?
Thanks for any comments,
- Mills
