I'd like to be able to get my hands on the data being sent to the
sound card by any process or library. Are there any hooks in the
sound driver that would let me do this? I know of at least one such
program for windows--that's how some supposedly secure music formats
have been cracked. Just listen to the data as it leaves (or enters, I
suppose) the sound driver and you've got yourself a perfect version of
the song.
I'm not looking to crack any system, but I've like to be able to see
all the data going to my sound card. Is there such a thing? Or do I
need to hack the sound driver code?
Thanks,
