Anybody have any suggestions as to why my .exrc file

is not being read by vim? My instructor at KSU said

that it was set up correctly, and it only has three

settings on it, relatively simple ones, like set

wrapmargin=7, set number, and set showmode. It is in

my home directory. I don't know if it's supposed to be

set up as an executable or not, but I've tried it both

ways, and the stupid thing refuses to be read.

I have Mandrake 6.1, and I use tcsh, if that's any

help.
