Hello:
I've got a 30gig drive with a 5gig partition /dev/hda1 for Win98
(pre-installed) and a 500 meg partition /dev/hda2 with my root partition
for a Redhat 6.2 install. All new installs on a just delivered machine.
After installing lilo with the following options for the Win98 parition:
other=/dev/hda1
table=/dev/hda
Win98 now fails with the following messages:
Starting Windows 98 .......
A> Type the name of the command interpreter:
No good. :(
Using my boot disk I restored the MBR backup that lilo made and can now
boot Win98 again, if needed. Nothing is damaged.
Any suggestions on the proper lilo.conf incantation to boot Win98
correctly?
