Here is something you can try. Create a new m4 file for your system and
add the following lines, or something very similar to them.
OSTYPE(debian)
MASQUERADE_AS(mindspring.com)
FEATURE(masquerade_envelope)
MAILER(local)
MAILER(smtp)
The main ones are the MASQUERADE_AS and the FEATURE lines. This will rewrite
the smtp protocol headers to match what the remote host is probably expecting.
