In this case, I believe that this is a problem that you *CAN'T* pin on
Mandrake 7.0.2; this was RH 6.0 that was giving me fits. It didn't matter
if I used the stock boot floppy or the one prepared especially for this
machine (the 53c710 under EISA is a problem).
