Ehh... you want a good system.map file. You really do. Stuff breaks if
you don't. Not kernel stuff, really, but stuff nonetheless. I'm having a
brain fart right now so I can't remember the last bad thing that happened to
me because of this, but as long as you can put an updated system.map file in
/boot (there should be one that matches your kernel in /usr/src/linux) I
think you really should.
