If you've got expect installed, there's a sample program that
comes with it called `kibitz' (and a corresponding version that runs
in an xterm called `xkibitz') that lets multiple people interact with
a shell. They'll have to run it beforehand, you can't just run it on
an arbitrary existing session (IIRC).
Also, a quick search on freshmeat.net turned up `ttysnoop',
which looks like it could be run against an existing session. Might
also be worth checking out.
