Oh, I wish I could remember where I saw that posting about Mandrake 7.0.
YMM definitely V, but I felt like 7.0.2 wasn't screwed together very well.
I might want to try installing it on another loose box before I solidly pass
judgement, especially since I kind of know what to make note of during the
install process. IIRC, I told the graphical installer I wanted both KDE and
GNOME available - I am almost certain I told it I wanted KDE at the very
least - but it installed neither and there I was, with this wm-less X
display wondering what the heck happened. Once I installed KDE from the
rpm, KDE worked. However, things like control-panel didn't work right and
there were a few other things IIRC that gave me a bad feeling - not at all
what I had come to expect from a Linux distro. So, I'm stopping just short
of really badmouthing M7.0.2 because I want to try an install again to get a
better idea of what all is going wrong, but I will say "Approach with care."
