Hello all...
Recently, the Open Source movement has been plagued by attacks based
on Intellectual Property. DeCSS, MP3/gnapster, Cybersitter, Cryptography,
Amazon.com patents, the list goes on and on and on. Are we under attack or
are we suffering from the same plague that troubles corporate America?
The Atlanta Unix Users Group (AUUG) has been honored for years by
an annual presentation from Georgia's premier intellectual properties
law firm, Morris, Manning, and Martin. Got a concern or an interest in
patents, copyrights, trade secrets, or trademarks? This is the place to
be! Open source or close source, this is a common ground that we all
have an interest in!
This one is one not to be missed be you ALE or be you AUUG or be
you anyone with any interest in interest in intellectual property at all!
Mike
