Hmm. now that I think about it, I wonder if it's in lilo somehow.
I had a problem on an earlier version of slackware when the LILO
prompt would display on powerup, it would display L, about 1/2
second, I, 1/2 second, L, 1/2 second O, but that was the only
time it happened, But I was using the regular console. Never
tried powering up with a different console, so not sure.
