I have a bunch of QVision 210s here and for the most part they are fine for
the desktop. In fact, it's what I am using at work. What kind of problems
did you have with yours, aside from being way too deep ...pj

Subject: [ale] Monitor Technology
My monitor bit the dust so i'm in the market for a new one.
(By the way, never get a Compaq Qvision 210 monitor. Bad Bad Evil Bad)
So I'm in the market for a monitor with some very large real estate.
However,
I hate having a monitor that had a really large depth. It makes it difficult
to
fit onto my deskl. The compaq that i had was over 75 lbs and approx 2 feet
in
depth. Not a good thing.
I've been drooling over the SGI widescreen LCD panel and the Viewsonic 18"
LCD
panel. I was wondering if anybody on the list was using one of them.
Suggestions on a traditional monitor are welcome as well.
