Go somewhere else. I had my father cancel his BS installation over the same

issue. I'm planning on signing him up for Telocity (www.telocity.com). They

explicitly state that they support Unix boxes. They send a modem with an ethernet

connection so any ethernet based box can connect.

Lastly Telocity is offering free setup and equipment until the end of

March with no annual contract.

In fact I just signed my father up.
