Problem is that the folks on "Mahogany Row" don't typically know about

computers or the issues in rolling out new systems.  They seem not to

realise that rolling out a system that bears no relationship or

resemblence of any sort to the existing system will result in the people

who have to do it not having the ability to do so.  You should have heard

the grumbling at one of our clients' sites when they rolled out Lotus

Notes to replace the (NT Based) SMTP system they had in place, as a result

of a mandate that came from hundreds of miles away.  As a system

integrator/contractor, I see this sort of thing happen alltogether too

often.
