Screen is a multiple screen utility. If the getty is running try the
following on the other machine.
chmod a+rw /dev/ttyS0
cu -s 38400 -l /dev/ttyS0

Ok, on machine A) I executed "/sbin/getty ttyS0 38400 linux" and on machine
B)
I tried "screen /dev/ttyS0" and I get a blank screen, what am I missing ?
