I like the mtools utility, since I don't want to mount my DOS/Win
partitions.
If I want to know what are on the DOS partitions, just do a
"mdir c:/". I can copy files between the DOS and Linux FS to
view/modify them.
I am "trashing" my Linux partition almost once every few days,
switching between Slackware 7 and Debian Potato. Having a mounted
DOS/Win partition is rather dangerous.
