I've got Oracle8 (8.0.5.1) Enterprise Edition running fine under
Debian GNU/Linux (potato)... The only problem is you do have to apply a
patch because it was built for glibc2.0 while Debian potato and any
RedHat system newer than 6.0 IIRC are glibc2.1... I found all the info
I need off Oracles TechNet...
