At this point, I would grab a DOS boot-diskette* with DOS-fdisk** on it,
use it to boot the system, and try to put a DOS partition back where D:
used to be. At least it's worth a try.
If it's any comfort, I tried reforming some Win95 partitions with both the
PM version which comes with Mandrake Linux 6.0, and the real-live
commercial version, and both pooped on me. I finally blew the #$%!! Win95
installation away _in_toto_.
