You know, the Caldera eServer distro CD, after you've completed the
installation, "launches"
Linux without actually reboting the machine. I wonder if 70MB is enough to
do something similar but way cut-down - detect NIC, detect disks &
partitions (to include FAT/FAT32), detect video, start fvwm2/WindowMaker -
enough to give you some feel of what it's like to be using Linux. I don't
have the kung fu just yet to figure out how to create a Linux distribution
or even crib from an existing one to do such a thing, but boy, what an
"infiltration tool" that could be.
