> > Linux: A Bazaar at the Edge of Chaos
I think the title and Linux' evolution definitely speaks for us as users and
developers of the system. "...at the Edge of Chaos" truly is what Linux is...it
truly say's something about sociallogical organization. How a world-wide team of
developers created something incredibly amazing, and at the same time
revolutionized the way software is developed by challenging the status quo.
Together without profit motive, or personal gain we've all developed something
for each other. We've built-up a strong community in a short-time, by sharing
information resources throughout the world with various types of people crossing
various communication lines and cultural differences an amazing system and
community. A community where the information you hold is shared, where problems
are resolved through communication and open access to information resources.
I personally believe everyone in the world could learn a lesson from the Linux
community whether it's about technology or community. This movement also says
something about existing organizational structures, it proves their
incorrectness in saying "this is THE way". Both in technology and community,
Linux says "this is A way".
just a small rant...be happy, I had more to say. ;-)
thanx.
