Sounds like me. I had the same deal, and I called them and talked
about it. I finally got a tech who understood and he told me to call
and ask to exchanged the services on the two lines. I did, and (after
I pestered them repeatedly) the two lines were exchanged, but not
neither line could to 53K. Then a couple weeks later they exchanged
the lines again and I had to rewire my lines a second time. The only
good that came out of this is that they never did charge me.
I really disslike bellsouth.
