WoW! A flame war on ALE. How long has it been?
Fwiw whoever is climing that you would wait on hold for over an hour with
MediaOne, I have never waited more than a few rings. Secondly, if MediaOne
doesn't have an answer, customers can always call the RoadRunner NOC (Network
Ops Center) tollfree at 1-877-777-2263. Someone will answer within a few rings
and you always get prompt and courteous service. I can't remember the last
time BellSouth residential gave me service, let alone prompt and courteous.
Besides, if you have a cable modem one outfit is responisble for it, in this
case MediaOne. However, with DSL, T1, etc. you usually get caught in the
middle between a telco and the ISP over the simplest things.
