If you can set up a linux box that gets its IP info via DCHP ready to
go, there should be little you'd have to do for these install techs.
Probe the dhcp server to get the IP address, DNS servers, and gateway
and you've got all the info you need. It'll take less than ten minutes
if you have the info up front. Your mileage may vary.
I didn't use the 3com the techs handed out. I had preconfigured a NIC
and had the MAC address ready.
