Interesting idea, but it wouldn't work in my case because the one machine
that has really *got* to have DHCP is my laptop, reason being that it goes
back and forth between my home network and my office network. My home
network is all in 192.168.1.0/24 and work is in 10.0.0.0/8, so it's going
to go looking for different IP's
