If I remember correctly, there is an undocumented option to the DOS fdisk

command:

 

FDISK /MBR - Recreates the master boot record good way to get rid of Virus's

 

that will rub out LILO if you want this to happen.

still boots with the old LILO..How do I remove LILO from the mbr on the
