It will tend to not matter as much if you plan to do mostly sequential

read/writes.  IIRC, ext2 file systems don't really write big files

sequentially all that much in the first place and you're probably going to

be dealing mostly with small files, so, in practice, it will almost

certainly be better to have the 7200-rpm drive.  Unless, of course, you're

holding out for the 15K-rpm drives that are coming...
