You win! *grin* I have managed that one as well, though. Got a kickin'
*wink* 386/25 IBM pre-ThinkPad (PS/Notes?) laptop from my old employer.
Hey, they were gonna throw it away...ran Linux on that thing for about 18
mos. before it gave up the ghost...
Isn't this sort of reminicence fun? RE: your question, I say leave the
firewall alone, if it's working. One of my favorite things about Linux is
that I can just build a new box for a new function, if I need to. I used
to worry about daisy-chaining parallel port devices (scanner, printer, zip
drive). Now I just stick 'em on their own box! (I know, I could use extra
port cards...but a whole box is more fun. Plus you get a new set of
interrupts, so you never have to worry about running out...).
