So, I have a question here. I've been planning on getting DSL through
my current provider, but I've got fiber to the curb, not copper capable
dsl. My understanding is that my provider needs to get BellSouth to do
'something' in order for them to be able to offer this service to me.
I called BellSouth and asked about the possibility of getting the
connectivity, but using a different ISP. They said, sure, but I'd still
have to pay them the full price I would be paying them if they were my
provider.
So, question is, how are these other ISP's doing this? Are they doing
all the work, or contracting BellSouth to do it for them? Certainly you
folks aren't paying Bellsouth and your ISP to get DSL??

I'm afraid there will be more problems with W2K than there were with
Y2K...
