Yes, I realize that the limiting component is the slower.
I have access to some inexpensive parallel port storage devices and
Adaptec scsi cards and was wondering if there might be a way to go......
SCSI card -> parport device, and NOT lose the SCSI speed.
Maybe an efficient [asm] software translator might be worth doing, if
one doesn't exist, which was what I hoped. It'd sure take the cost sting
out of scsi backups if the speed loss was tolerable.
The Iomega adapter would apparently allow a connection, but I guess you
might as well just connect to the parport, in that case.
