First, version 3 of NFS is in the newer 2.3 kernels if I remember
correctly.
Second, can you rpcinfo -p the Linux portmap daemon from the SGI? And
is bauhaus the SGI fully qualified domain name? IRIX prefers what is
returned from a DNS or hosts file lookup for the hostname check.
