Here's a little more information on the ethernet card:

My friend told me it was an EDIMAX EN-5200PXA ( I have

never heard of it, he says it is not too old.)  

Yeah, junker pc are great for servers with

linux...But, the good news is that their is a good

free proxy server with it.  Unlike window$ were the

proxy server is very costly.
