Just had this happen to a machine I was workin on this evenin

as well (Mandrake distro) and just tried re-runnin lilo & uninstallin

and re-installin lilo and neither seem'd to clear it up... However the

Mandrake boot disk correct'd the problem for us... We got this error

after installin a new kernel on the system... didn't have time to look

deeper into it as I had to finish what I was there to do and just made

a mental note to look into it later...
