I am trying to mount a linux directory in AIX , but seem to be having

trouble . 

I have checked the rhosts and all that stuff, but I dont even seem to be

able to rsh localhost date on my linux box without getting a permission

denied. 

However I have put an entry in /etc/exports and run exportfs 

I made sure , portmap , mountd and nfs are running, and when I try and

mount the filesystem I get 

mount: 1831-008 giving up on :

linux01:/mnt/cdrom

vmount:Operation not permitted

Any help would be great
