Hi -
I'm hoping someone can help me pinpoint where my problem is w/ setting
up Netscape Roaming w/ mod_perl. I had this working before, so I'm
confused about what's going wrong now.
I've rebuilt my Linux server as a stock RH6.1. When I set it up and
restart apache, it shuts down (caught SIGTERM, shutting down). A
'status' of httpd returns 'httpd dead but subsys locked'
I'm using the standard RH6.1 Apache (1.3.9) and mod_perl (1.21-2)
packages and Apache-Roaming-0.1002. Apache starts fine w/ mod_perl
enabled, but when I add the stanza for Apache::Roaming to httpd.conf
that's when things break.
In both cases, I've followed the instructions found at
www.linuxworld.com for setting up roaming profiles. I haven't been able
to find anything other than general descriptions of the errors I've been
getting, so I'm not sure where the problem is. My gut tells me it's
something w/ the Apache::Roaming module, but I'm not that familiar w/
troubleshooting perl modules for Apache.
Any ideas?
Thanks.
