There is a program called `xmove' to do this. It provides a
pseudo X server that looks like an X server to clients, and will
connect to different real servers and proxy the connection between the
two. Sort of akin to screen, but for X clients.
A quick search found a copy in the FreeBSD ports tree. You
probably can find it on ftp.x.org under the contrib directories.
