I have a laptop that I am trying to install Linux on (Mandrake).
My installation went flawlessly, except for my glide pad.
My glide pad was having difficulties, and I learned of a fix, whereby
I had to alter some source code, and recompile my kernel.
Unfortunately, after I recompile my kernel, I find my PCMCIA
services broken.
Has anyone with a RedHat or Mandrake distribution recompiled
their kernel, and can tell me what you had to do to "fix" the PCMCIA?
Is there an option buried in make Xconfig that I didn't enable?
Thanks!
