if we are speaking of a 2.2.X kernel here, the PCMCIA stuff is packaged
seperately from the actual kernel source. You may have to go and get the
pcmcia source package from the pcmcia homepage at
http://pcmcia.sourceforge.net or via ftp at ftp://sourceforge.org/pcmcia
(yes, the http site is a .net and the ftp site is a .org)
I believe the latest version is 3.1.8
Just unpack it, do a make config, a make all, and then a make install.
